The Original Pipe Organ of Gottfried Silbermann

The original Pipe Organ was constructed by Gottfried Silbermann in 1736 with 43 registers and 3 keyboards.

The Pipe Organ was subject to many changes and by 1945, the pipe organ had 80 registers and 5 keyboards.

In the night between the 13th and the 14th of February Dresden was completely bombed, the Frauenkirche was on fire and so was the Pipe Organ.
